Abstract:
      As a complex industrial process, the design of pulp and paper engineering involves collaborative cooperation and data sharing in many fields. The introduction of Building Information Model (BIM) technology can improve the efficiency, quality, and sustainability of engineering design, while also contribute to project management. In this paper, the application of BIM technology in pulp and paper engineering design, the needs and challenges of digital transformation, and future development directions were introduced, aiming to explore how to achieve digital transformation based on BIM technology in the field of pulp and paper engineering design.
